The process of design follows a series of proven steps that take us from your point of inspiration to the development of a solution.
As you picture your project, the image may be exciting or intimidating, hazy or crystal clear, so first, let's meet and define your Vision and Goals. Chat over coffee? Online with the building committee? Open public meeting with scores of stakeholders? Whatever the venue, by listening and documenting, we'll all come to share your Big Idea.
We'll do basic Project Research early on: Where's the site? Have you a survey? Who has jurisdiction? What is the zoning? Are there views to enjoy? (Or avoid?) P.S. A remodel or addition will need existing conditions documented before moving forward. We can do that.
How many 1st grade classrooms? How big is your kitchen sink? How many people in the auditorium? Do the dogs need their own bedroom? (Sometimes, they do.) The answers to these sorts of questions form a Program of Spaces. Once agreed upon, this tabulation of sizes and functions form the basis for design and can be shared with a contractor to begin budgeting.
Using the information above, we'll develop a Conceptual Design custom-made for you. We'll present these ideas, get your feedback and work together to create an outstanding solution.
We've worked with homeowners for over 20 years; from master suite additions to complete remodels to ground up designs for all kinds of projects, large and small. What are we most proud of? Happy families in handsome homes and repeat business!
Give industrie your feasibility studies, facade-lifts and full-renovations. Why should you spend a fortune on keeping a big, faceless design firm running? Let us use our speed, personal service and low overhead to keep your bottom line looking great.
Over thirty years of innovative and award-winning design work in the land of K-12 and Higher Education makes us a solid design leader...and with enthusiasm, experience and ideas-a-plenty we comfortably partner with educators, administrators, students, builders and their unique communities.
Many unique projects come from the public sector: governmental, police and fire, justice and corrections, libraries, water and wastewater, maintenance and more. We value our public services and enjoy crafting solutions tailored for your specific needs.
"How can I develop this site to its highest and best use?"
